Confused about so many visas

Post by Uk2Dubai » Tue Oct 20, 2009 12:07 am

Hi, me again!!!

Can someone please clarify:-

1. Is the settlement visa the same as a spouse visa?

2. What's the advantage of waiting to be married for 4 years before applying to live in the UK? What visa should my husband apply for? Can we both go to the UK at the same time? What's the process?

3. If i choose to go back to the UK before 4 years and then want my husband to join me, what visa should he apply for?

It's all getting very confusing now so really, would appreciate some help and links to any appropriate forms.

Thanks everso,

vinny

1. A spouse visa is a form of settlement visa.
2. See also settlement in UK. Yes, you may go to the UK at the same time.
3. He may apply for a spouse visa.
