ATAS clearance

Dear friends,

I have been following this forum for some time, experiencing the same agonizing delays as you have. I have just received my ATAS clearance today!! So don't give up hope! Here has been my timeline for my application

August 26: Submitted ATAS application

August 27: Received confirmation of application submission

September 11: E-mail from ATAS asking for me to confirm the accuracy of my research statement (which of course was accurate) replied the same day

October 15: E-mail from ATAS confirming that they had received the necessary information. My application "has been amended and will be processed in due course"

October 21: Received ATAS clearance.

During this time I had sent at least a dozen inquiries, all with no response.
