Bad experience at Heathrow regarding full time work?

Post by tuliprose » Wed Oct 21, 2009 7:52 pm

Hello mates, one of my house mate in on Tier 4 Visa and studying in reputable university. He got scared to face the officers at Heathrow while he returns from back home bcaz he did more than 20 hours on some occasions.

He got good results in his last semesters but scared of his extra hours.

Did anybody had any experience at heathrow regarding hours of work? Do they ask N.I number?

Please share, if you have any information.

Thanks.

If he did more than 20 hours during the university holidays then it's fine. If he did more than 20 hours during term time then there's a chance that they might question him.

Just curious, what do you call a 'reputable university'?

He worked more than 20 hours during his study hours. He is studying in Queen Mary University.

Then there's a chance that he might be questioned at the airport.
