I have a job offer. What should I do now?

Post by cbobarna » Tue Aug 02, 2005 8:49 pm

I receive a job offer for UK. According with the job offer I should start the work on 1 Sept 2005.
I’m from Romania and I applied for HSMP.I sent all of my papers to them in Doncaster. Royal Mail site says that they received my papers on 1 August. HSMP team didn’t sent me the reference number.
I had attached to the HSMP application the job offer.
Most probably the answer from HSMP team will not come soon enough to obtain the work permit before 1 September 2005.

Please give me an advice. What should I do now?
I should wait for HSMP team?
Do you think my UK employer can take care about the work permit? For what kind ok programme they should look? It is any chance that they will obtain the work permit in due time (until 1 September)?
My wife can come with me if my UK employer will take care about the work permit?

Thank you in advance for your responses.

you should have obtained your reference number (read the faq section) by email.
but even ig you don't have time for this just phone them and tell them your case.
you definately should send an urgent request as well.
