we don't give advice, just our oppinions as it's illegal for most of us to advise.MazyMiddleton wrote:Hello all,
I can't tell you please I am to finally find a website that contains all you fabulous people giving advice on immigration. I have felt so frustrated, confused and alone in this from the start.
My partner is a US citizen and has recently returned to the US from the UK so that he can re-enter on a financee visa. I am pregnant and due on 7th March. We are positive that he will be approved but I am now confused as to the next part of the process.
We want to marry asap but then where do we go from there, do we need to apply for a marriage visa and if so can he stay in the UK to do this?
Many thanks for your help x
No I'm pretty sure you don't need to put the baby on the form if he/she is British.MazyMiddleton wrote:Thank you!
One more question...the form says that you must pay £50 for each dependant applying. I will have the baby by then but as he/she will be born to me as a UK citizen in the UK will it be necessary to include him/her in the application?
Okay, I lied, two more.... any ideas how long a postal application generally takes? - trying to work out the pros and cons of applying in person.
