No balance in my bank account

Hi!

I got HSMP approval letter on 6th august 2005. Now i want to apply for EC, but i have no funds available in my bank account.

Now my father & my uncle want to sponsor me for this trip. If both pay me by check or Demand Draft & give me a statement that they are giving me this amount as Gift.

I have also gold jewellery & a Car.

So if i sell jewellery & car & deposit amount to my bank account, & then i go for EC, will it be ok. Or we should have a balance of funds in our bank for more than 3 months?

Please advice.
