Dear All

Do we have right to claim Dolescum while we are in Tier 1 PSW and unemployed?

uguracar, given that it is not a word I have heard of before, what do you mean by Dolescum.

Also, how long have you been working in the UK?

I guess its some kind of benefit/support for people who are unemployed. Just a guess.

Sorry guys.. I found the definition on Urban Dictionary. What i meant ws benefit from Goverment. I am again sorry if the word caused you to missunderstand.

I dont think u can.. bu i might be wrong.. it says on the visa too i believe.. "no recourse to funds" or something..

uguracar, you cannot claim income-based JSA, but there is nothing to stop you claiming contribution-based JSA ..... if you have paid enough NI contributions.

Which is why I asked, how long have you been working in the UK? The answer?

thanks john. The answer is i havent paid tax so was as i was titled as student. I am currently awaiting for my PSW Tier 1 visa.
