Hi All,

I am self employed along with salaried job. I'm about to apply for T1 General on April 02. My Question is, as self employed some of the money has come in account as cash while other amounts have come in form of cheques. initially i used to put only cash in my account, then my accountant told me to get cheques from customers and put them in account. can there be any problem as far cash deposit is concerned? out of 10000 pounds i have put 6500 in form of cash?

I am pretty much in the same boat though just to update you,
Post offices are going to be Shut on Good Friday (2nd April)
And Monday 5th Apr as well (Easter Bank holiday)
You need to either send your application on 1st or 3rd of April.

Thank you so much Alimohmand. I am planning to apply on 1st of April. Just waiting for my bank statements, I have ordered them on 23.03.2010, girl in Bank of Scotland told me i should receive them by 30.03.2010.
The moment I receive them I'll post my docs to HO.

How far have you gone ? Have you posted your application or not yet?
