So just my luck, I'll have the maintenance fund requirement met on April 7, 2010, so the new rules are applicable for me. That being said, I still meet the threshold to obtain the visa, however I have the following questions:
1. In my package I am including my PBS report from the UK website. Should I wait for the UK website to update to the new PBS after April 6th or can I just make reference in my cover letter to the new rules and how it affects my previous score?
2. For previous earnings, I'm paid a salary whereby I'm paid on the 15th and 30th (or 31st) of every month. However, if the pay period falls on a weekend, we're paid on the last weekday before that date. Since I don't have all my pay stubs, I'm getting a letter from the employer. I'm wondering if I should show two sets of dates (in different columns), showing the pay period date and actual date deposited in bank statement (so it ties perfectly to the attached bank statements for the year)
3. I get a base salary, but my net fluctuates as we get overtime pay and short-time deduction (ie. Ie. sick day or personal time). The fluctuations throughout the year shouldn’t matter should it?
4. Should I convert my net pay into british pounds on my letter of employment as well? Does it matter since it’s earnings is based on gross pay (shows total gross converted into pounds on letter), not net pay? I'm thinking no to ensure the reviewer doesn't make a dumb mistake and use my net earnings figure converted into pounds to determine points for earnings
5. For the English language requirement, can I just make reference to the Bachelor’s degree I have in my qualifications section and my passport? (On my PBS report, i have it as "I am a national from a majority English speaking country)
6. For proof of age, submitting my passport is sufficient correct? I saw some cover letters including birth certificate but I didn't see this as a requirement on the UK Boarder Agency website.
Thanks!
