ILR HSMP and job

Post by ozy » Tue Mar 30, 2010 9:59 pm

Hi,
I am working under HSMP visa and my job is on a fixed term contract which will expire 1 month before when i will be applying for IDR. I was wondering how this clause (stated below) which is mentioned on Border Agency website will affect my application for IDR.

"Evidence of employment
You should provide recent documents from the employer named in your current work
permit confirming that you are still needed and that your employment within them is continuing."
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... documents/

My question is: Is it neccessary to have a job on the time when i apply for IDR or will my previous employment proof be sufficient incase i dont find the job at the time when i will be applying for IDR.
Could you please provide any guidance on this issue.
Many Thanks
Ozy
