Volcanic Dilemma

Post by Anio » Mon Apr 19, 2010 4:08 pm

My mother-in-law’s visitors visa expired last Thursday. She was due to depart the UK same day but due to the volcanic disruptions she’s still sitting tight in the UK. Few questions, as I invited her and this is on record will this affect in anyway my extension application, and secondly what can she do? Tried to call home office to get some response but all they said was she should keep records of these events. No formal text from them.

It’s a bit unnerving but have few weeks left to put in my application. Any advise would be really appreciated.
