Does HSMP hurt Workpermit

If applied for HSMP and is rejected does it has any effect on Workpermit?

both are no way related.
Workpermit is issued by employer not by individual
HSMP is being applied individually and no involvement of any employer etc.Both can co-exist. Employer will cancel ur WP thru an appln to homeoffice. Thats it. Also when your EC stamp/visa is stamped on ur passport they will NOT cancel the workpermit.
