Is accomodation proof mandatory for Tier 1 dependent Visa

Hello.
I am applying for tier 1 dependent visa. My wife is my sponser. She has a job offer which she will be joining on 01 june 2010. So as of now she is in India and has no accommodation proof. She will be staying in a hotel for first few days. Is accommodation proof mandatory. Could any one please help. What should i do in that case. I have all other documents ready with me.
