Tier-1 Exchange rate to be taken

Hi,

Can someone please tel me what should be exchange rate that I should calculate for my earnings. I am declaring my slary for the 12 months starting from June 2009-May 2010. Currentl Oanda give the exchange rate of .0149.I am using this to calculate my earnings. is it correct?

According to policy guidance

129. An applicant should use the closing exchange rate on the OANDA website at www.oanda.com/currency/classic-converter on the last day of the period for which he/she has claimed earnings in that currency.

So in your case it should be the last day in May when your salary was paid by your company.
