Discretionary leave to Naturalisation

Post by rom » Fri Jun 04, 2010 6:19 pm

After my application as a spouse of a british citizen,I have been granted Discretionary leave to remain and I will soon apply for my ILR,after a total of 6 years.
- I would like to know if before applying for citizenship I would have to hold ILR for 12 months? ( disretionary leave case).

Any info is welcome.

Thanks in advance

No, you wont need to wait at all. You can apply for naturalisation on the day you get your ILR.
