Bank Statements - Question

Post by vennk0 » Thu Jun 10, 2010 4:32 pm

Hi,

There are two place where I am showing my bank statements for TIER - 1 (General) Visa.

1. Earning - 12 month bank statements
2. Maintenance of funds - 3 months bank statements

But, 3 months of maintenance of funds bank statements are among the 12 month bank statements of earnings.

Will Home Office accepts it or do they need seperate statements again for Maintenance of funds.

Also, when I requested bank statements from HSBC Bank. It has been mentioned as DUPLICATE on the statement but was on HSBC Bank letter.

Please advise if it is fine.

No need of separate 3 months statement if it contain within your earning period 12 months.

Should be fine but make sure it is sealed and signed by authorized person.

Hi,

What is sealed and signed. I am producing the original statements which I normally receive to my house address. They are on

1. HSBC Bank Official letter head
2. My Account number and all other details

Please let me know if it is not sufficient.

if it is original than it should be fine. You mentioned earlier that you have got duplicate statement hence suggested to go for seal and signature.

HSBC will only give a stamped statements on the HSBC letter head, they may not sign on the statement that they give.. are they still acceptable..?

Thank you. Yes, as I requested for extra statements from bank, they gave me as duplicate.

I requested them extra copies of statements thinkng that I have to produce two diffener copies of statements for Previous earnings and Maintenance of funds even though 3 month of maintenance bacnk statements are covered in previous earnings.

you need signature over the bank seal on each copy of statement if it is not original.

As far as i think, you should be fine with statements saying duplicate......as i have green account and whenever i ask for statement i get similar statement from HSBC.

But i would suggest have opinion from someone as well.........i plan to submit same statments when i make my application........

Cheers
