I received my CAS for a masters programme a couple days ago and so I'm finishing up my tier 4 application from Canada. One section requires that I disclose any criminal convictions, including traffic offences.
I've received 3 fixed penalty notices before; a speeding ticket 2 years ago, failure to provide driving documents 3 years ago, and a fine for open alcohol in public 4 years ago.
All 3 of these violations are non-criminal offences in Canada. In the case of the last one it's a provincial, non-criminal, non-traffic offence. I have no issues with declaring my traffic offences, but I don't know what to do about the open liquor ticket.
I have 2 criminal record checks, 1 from my local police service and another from the provincial police, stating that I have never had a criminal conviction nor am I wanted for any outstanding crimes. Do I still need to declare this alcohol violation? How is this going to impact my application?
