Confused about maintenance fund after Pankina judgement

apologise if I'm asking a very dumb question but after reading the threads here about Pankina judgement I got really confused. my wife is planning to apply for T1G dependent visa in next few months.

do I need to keep the money in account for whole 3 months or only for just last month?
