Reconsideration Waiting Time

Hi Sir/Madam


I am new to these forums but this is really help full for peoples don,t have a lawyer or representative yet.

My application for Tier 1 Gen(in uk) was refused in the start of 2010 incorrectly by the Home office.They did not give me the right of appeal due to I still had leave to remain that time.

I wrote a letter to home office and ask them for a reconsideration and also sent them some additional evidence. I told them that I will be seeking help from high court if they are not changing their wrong decision.

Upon receiving my letter Home office replied me by saying that they will reconsider my case and will contact me following the conclusion of their reconsideration.


Its more then 10 weeks now and I am still waiting for their reply.I don,t know why Home office is taking so long.It is a very hard time for me and is effecting badly on my life.

I have sent another reminder letter to home office before 15 days, that I am still waiting for their reply but I have not received any reply from them yet..Also I have sent an e mail to my local MP regarding this matter, and waiting for her reply as well.

Can any body plz tell me what I need to do in this situation.How can I expedite this matter?
