For all those who plan to apply for HSMP, gr8 news do it soon coz the latest update is that UK is still in shortage of skilled workers , so it makes your path bit easy to get through. Experts opinion please.8)

Hi Mrugank,

Even if it is true its very difficult to get visa under hsmp. I met one migration expert who said me that now 95% cases has been refused by visa officer.I don't know how much its true but this the thing I like to share with u.

Sorry for butting in... where did you get this info? Could you please be more specific - what visa and what visa officer? As you know there are two stages of getting HSMP status - firstly, getting HSMP approved by HSMP team in Sheffield and secondly, get either FLR from the IND in Croydon or entry clearance at British High Commission.
What exactly did you mean by "very difficult to get the visa under HSMP"?

and in what fields are they short of skilled workers? The UK could be short skilled workers in engineering and biochemistry, yet are still getting immense amounts of computer programmers when the market is already saturated in that industry.
