Dependent Visa - Accomodation Proof

Hi there,

I am currently in UK on Tier 1 and want to call my family here.
I have got a permanent job and maintence funds are ok in the account.
regarding accomodation.....
Currently i am living with a friend and looking for a 2 bed accomodation as i have got 2 kids under 10 years old as well.

Question: Can i send documents from my current address with a tenancy agreement and survey letter from the Estate Agent to prove accomodation. I have already desposited the advance and one month rent but the property is under refurbishment and will be available in 2 months time. Please advie? thanks

yes you can, tenancy agreement, deposit and rent slips are ok.

Thanks for reply askhan....but the thing i am worried about that the law says proof of address whereas currently i am living with my friend and the letter from estate agent says the property will be available in 1.5 - 2 months time? and all my salary slips and bank statements are if my current addres where i am living with my friend!!!!???? thanks

You are providing evidence in support of their accommodation arrangements and not where you are staying. Clarify in the cover letter and it should be fine.
