Previous Earning Query for Tier 1 Visa

Previous Earning Query for Tier 1 Visa

I have planned to apply for Tier 1 Visa this December. My query is with regrads to this.I have a doubt in the previous earning section for Tier 1 .

To give a back ground, I was working in a company till April 2010 and then joined another company and was working from May 2010. So, Along with my April Salary, I also got final settlement from my previous employer. My query is whether I can include this settlement amount in my earnings. I have all the original supporting documents (pay slip, Bank Statements) .
