Urgent UK Tier 1 Application

Hi,

I am currrently in Kolkata, India and planning to file Tier 1 Visa Application in January,2011.

But there is a chance that I will go to Australia in November,2010 and during January,2011 I will be in Australia under VISA 457 work permit.

Can I apply for Tier1 Visa from Australia in January? Are there any other implications?
