PSW to Tier 1 (General)

Hi all,
I currently have a PSW visa and am currently working in UK .I want to switch to Tire 1(General). I was doing the Points based system calculator.

For the Question 'What type of application are you making?'
should I select 'Switching your current immigration category in the United Kingdom' OR
'Extending your stay in the United Kingdom'

I will be eligible only if it is an extension, and I believe that since PSW is under Tier 1, so it is an extension. But , I am not sure.
Could you kindly advise?

you are actually not extending your stay. you are switching your immigration category in the UK.
