Dependent Visa - Advice

Hello,

Newbie to this so sorry if you have had this asked or discussed previously.

My wifes post study work expires next month and the company she works for cannot apparently sponser for workpermit. My teir 1 General visa expires next year June. Can she apply for dependent visa ? Does she need to go back to apply for dependent visa or can she apply from within UK ?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
