i sopke to a solicitor about getting married to my fiance which has been here for 8 years(illegaly) i am so confused please someone help me everyone is saying something different and now i dont have no idea where to start from.i spoke to two solicitors and one of them said that it will take 7 months for the certificate to arrive and i have no idea why it takes that long and the other one said it takes 6weeks-3months and we would need photos,bills,mine and his id and also he said we would need to do a swearing infront of solicitors so that could be used as an evidence and also he said we would need to get 7 signatures from friends or family that our relationship is true.. does this seem ok or just full of c....? im just going round in circles please help me..
