rental income tenant agreement ?

rental income tenant agreement ?

Hi i inherited a property from my parents in 2007, which has a tenant agreement with their name on and the tenant. I started to collect the rent to my bank account in October and If I show the title deed with my name on and the tenant agreement with my parents names on will it be ok ? A solictor has told me its ok, but i just want piece of mind.
