UK allowance being paid by Indian employer

Post by Rame3293 » Wed Dec 08, 2010 11:44 pm

Hi All,

Could anyone please clarify me whether I'm eligible for switching into Tier 1

I have been in UK for the past 4 months now on Tier 2 ICT. I took PBS assessment and I believe that I'm eligible for switching into Tier 1.

My only problem is that my UK allowances are being paid by my employer in India (credited in an account in India and can be accessed from here using ATM card) and are not reflected in pay slips.

As per COS, this allowance should be paid by my UK employer and not by Indian employer, I'm planning to submit earnings letter that I got from my Indian employer as earnings proof, is this okay?, or Home office might reject my application because of this.

Did anyone apply with earnings letter from overseas employer and succeed?

Thanks.
