Course subject (Eng or Technology) in Education Letter

Post by dinakaran10 » Sat Dec 18, 2010 4:10 am

Hi All,

I am in the process of applying for HSMP under Tier 1 (Highly Skilled workers) and under General category.

I am submitting an education letter of my Bachelor in Technology degree from my college, to support my qualification/education (which was taught in English).

Now in the letter, could you please let me know whether to mention the name of the subject as Engineering or Technology?
As my Bachelor's Degree is Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and not Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), will it be appropriate to mention Technology rather than Engineering?

Please suggest.

Thanks and Regards,
Dinakaran.R

You need to submit the degree not a letter. If you had to refer to it in a letter, you need to refer to it the same way it was described on the actual degree.
