WCATT timeline tracker WCATT Stamp 5

Post by Marisa » Mon Jan 17, 2011 5:28 pm

HI everyone, I thinks it’s about time we get the timeline tracker for WCATT?

Can I ask the moderator to make this topic (or any of the WCATT related topics below) sticky, please?

As there are bits and pieces of information here and there, which is not very comfortable.

My data:
I’ve sent out my application on the 13th October 2010.
Received my passports back the 14th January 2011.
It took 64 working days for the Endorsement Section to fully process my application.

And as my current passport expiring soon, I'll be back to the waiting list soon(Stamp 5 now may be renewed by post) Has anyone tried renew it by post? Does it take 40 working days as well?

They havent made citizenship timeline tracker a sticky (the longest thread on this forum) what chance WCATT will have?

By the way it said here it only takes 8 weeks for WCATT...

http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/Wi ... dorsements

Also keep in mind marisa WCATT and LTR are Irish processes and are not subject to EU orders like EUFAM is ... which has to be turned around in 6 months so maybe that is why they are going laxy daisy on that just like they do in naturalisation process.

Just an update, INIS received my passport on 15th of Nov, still no news. If taking 2 weeks of hols into consideration as not working time, it is full 8 weeks of waiting time today... :(

Anyone else in similar situation? Or anybody getting their WCATT recently? Just to get an idea of REAL waiting time.

Hi everyone, does anyone know what day can I call INIS in relation to WCATT? Is that the same as LTR, i.e. Monday & Friday? Or is it a "general status change" query, which is on Thursdays?
Thanks!

Howdy Ho, just a quick update from my side.

1) I got my Stamp 5 renewed, which could ONLY be done by post now - confirmed on the phone call (as they're checking everyone on Garda PULSE system now).
2) It took me around 2 weeks (!!!). Sent out my passports on the 31st March, got them back 16th April.
3) This time there's also a handwriting below the stamp, saying "valid only with GNIB card until #/#/#".

Anyone got the a new WCATT stamp recently (Stamp 5 or 6)? Any ideas how long the process will currently take ? Is it safe to send in application with registered post ?

it is recommended to send your application by registered post. That way there will be reckord of it being received, etc.
