Dependant Visa Entry requirement and absence allowed?

Hi Friends,
I am wondering if there is any restriction on entrance for Tier 1 dependant after visa is issued. Is there any time frame within which needs to enter? Or dependant can enter after 4//5 months of visa issue date?
Another question is, how many days of absence is allowed out side uk? Is there any restriction on this?
