UK absences for extension application

Post by prasathhome » Sat Jan 22, 2011 12:14 pm

Hello,

I'm currently living and working in the UK on Tier 1 General visa (granted
on Jan 2009). I would be required to extend my visa in Jan 2012. At the
moment my employer is planning to open a offshore branch in India and was
asking me to help and start the business there. If I were to leave UK now
(Feb 2011), work in India and still have my payroll based in the UK office,
will it count towards my previous earnings for extension. In other words,
I'm outside UK working but paid in the UK?

Also, will my absence from Feb 2011 to Dec 2012 (assuming I'm coming back to the UK for extension) in anyway affect my visa for extension?

Many Thanks
