Can someone help to write a letter to uk home office to convince them that when i was filling online visit application we just came to know that my daughter had cancer and that led me stress and i forget to mention about my previous visa refusal.s i only need a visa my wife and kids are british.

It shouldn't be necessary - if you are applying as a spouse, then 320 7c kicks in and prevents them from exercising the ban.

Otherwise, regardless of stressful situations, it is a hard thing to convince someone off that when you put a specific question in front of someone that says "have you ever been refused a visa" ... all other visa applications go from your mind. Having a visa refused is something you to tend to remember.
