hi. this is my first time post.
i have a question about outstanding salary which was hold by my employer.
the whole situation is following:
i had applied tier 1 general on 2nd of december which got refused because of previous earning do not qualify.
The previous earning consisted of two part, my job paid in uk and another job paid in china. the earning in uk has no problem what so ever, coz i can cross reference it.
I work as a marketing representative for an oversea company in china, and also got paid to my bank account in china . the first time for my application i applied uplift for my earning which unfortunately did not count since i physically work in UK. i got refused naturally.
the thing is: the company in china pay to my bank account by using passbook, till september 2010, i had used the original passbook as proof of earning for my application which got refused in feburary.
so the passbook was absent from the company from october till feburary, the company can not pay me without my passbook, my salary between this period become outstanding. i have mailed my passbook to the company hopefully they can solve my outstanding salary. however the finance in charge told me, because of the company rule (taxation avoidance) the outstanding salary will be paid by cash deposit directly into my bank by finance in charge, instead of direct bank transfer.
This will be done in next few days, i just wonder, do i need to contact my employer to write the letter to state my earning in this period and explain things clearly to the home office, and does the cash deposit to my bank account in china by them is treated as cash salary?
btw, i am going to ask my employer to provide an letter indicating my earning in this period, i just wonder how to cross reference the outstanding salary payment. i am going to apply for a fresh one.
