Der Friends,
I have 8+years experience in System/network/security administration. I want to apply as Senior/specialist. But the present employer mentioned my job responsbilities as follows.

" MR.Veeru is engaged in Network Design and consultancy including selection of products and providing techinical support for the security solutions".

I would like to know whether this is enough to show as specialist/senior role. Please let me know ur feed back.

Regards,
veeru

No...the letter needs to be more detailed to demonstrate that your work is of 'senior role' nature
Where there is a will there is a way.

Now I am really concerned.. all my boss wrote down was that I held a Senior Network Support role and that I was successful in completing all the projects assigned to me. The details of the role are on my CV. I am going through an agent and they said it should be fine. If the Home Office needed clarificaion, wouldnt they just ask you to provide addtional information as with other postings on this forum? Or have I totally lost the plot. Also, the company I worked for is in england.. couldnt they just call them to clarify the role if they needed to?

Depends on the mood of the caseworker!

They won't call your reference for further clarification. But you can send additional information to support your claimed points, before allocating your application to a caseworker
