Dependent visa application

Post by Sangz venkat » Wed Mar 02, 2011 2:07 am

Hi,

we are curently in Singapore and I have been granted a tier 1 work permit for Uk and would like to apply for dependent visa for my husband.
By doing so, will my husband be able to enter Uk with the
same.

He might potentially take up education after a year or so.
Will he then be able to substitute his dependent
visa with student visa later?

Understand that tier 1 PBS applications are
not being processes currently. Would that apply to dependent as well

looking forward to your responses

regards

Yes, that's what the dependant visa is for!

Not from within the UK. He will have to return to home country and apply for entry clearance as a student.

Hi, sorry f I am
asking the obvious. Dependent visa would mean that my husband can work in Uk as a dependent right, even if I am not working for a temporary period.

Thanks for your assistance

You and your dependant(s) can work in any occupation other than as a doctor / dentist in a training post (conditions apply).
