How Many Times can Tier1 be Extended?

Post by jude12 » Fri Mar 04, 2011 5:18 pm

My current leave for Tier 1 is due to expire in Sep 2011.
Extension was granted in Sep 2008 and I also come under the HSMP Forum Judicial Review.

However I have gaps in my stay in UK since Sep 2008 that does not meet the criteria for ILR.
The gaps are due to the fact I worked outside UK with income still banked in my original Malaysia bank account.
My employer is Malaysia-based and has only a branch in UK.

My query is - Instead of ILR should I apply for a FLR extention for, lets say, 3 years instead? (really how many times can Tier1 be extended?).
So that I can comply with the physical residence strictly for the next 3 years? Sort of a second chance.

I stand a better chance at extending FLR rather than ILR.
Please help - I am at a loss what my direction should be.

Under current rules, there is no restriction on how many times one may apply for extension under Tier 1 (General).

Thanks sushdmehta.
I need another 3 years extension come Sep 2011.
I have the necessary income, bank accounts etc.
Hopefully that can be granted.
I will have to use the FLR Tier 1 (HSMP) Form instead of SET(O).
Thanks again.

For extension under HSMP JR conditions, use FLR Tier 1 (HSMP). SET (O) is for settlement application only.
