Tier 4 application Funds

Post by richardcja » Tue Mar 22, 2011 9:14 pm

I am trying to extend my current student visa which will expire Jun 11. I already have my CAS letter etc and just want to check on the funds required.

On the UKBA website, its stated that those with an established present can show prove of only max 2 months living allowance. I'm not too sure about the definition of established present.
Do I have an established presence if I have been in UK as a student under Tier 4 previously.

Also can i go to my bank and get a printed statement and submit that as proof of me having the neccessary funds to support myself, or does it need to be a proper bank statement??

Thanks
