Need advice on Spouse Visa....

Post by devikarobert » Wed Mar 30, 2011 3:37 pm

Hi,
I am an Indian national got married to British Citizen on 14th March,2011 in Mumbai. We have known each other from last 3 years but have not lived all the time together. My husband has been working as a Structural Engineer in Construction Company for last 5 years. We would be traveling to New Zealand together and he would be working. We would like to both come back to UK together.
We would like to be advised whether application is positive if he went ahead earlier and started working and for me to follow. Of course at this time he wouldn't be able to show where he lives. His parents might provide some kind of evidence about their home.
OR we both stay in New Zealand and have letter from his old Employer that he would be rejoining them.
I have got previous some rejections on applications so I do not want to take any risk and just want to know what would be best to do in terms of "positive application".
We prefer staying together even while application is being considered but at the same time we do not want to be rejected just because he isn't already in the UK with home and job.
Do we apply for Marriage Visa while being together or separately ?
