TIER1 GENERAL DEPENDANT

Post by newmoon » Tue Apr 05, 2011 10:48 am

HI MY FRIEND GOT HER TIER 1 GENERAL ON JANUARY SHE WENT TO INDIA TO BRING HER SON AS A DEPENDANT. SHE APPLIED FOR THE CHILD WHEN SHE WAS IN INDIA.

SHE CAME BACK TO UK AND NOW THE APPLICAITN WAS REFUSED BECOZ THE BANK STATEMENT SHE PRODUCED WAS OLDER THAN 30 DAYS.

1. CAN WE REAPPLY OR DO WE NEED TO WAIT FOR 6 MONTHS.(SOME PEOPLE ADVISED ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO REAPPLY FOR NEXT 6 MONTHS)

2.SHE IS THINKING TO REAPPLY BUT NOW SHE IS IN UK AND THE DEPENDANT IS A CHILD SO IN THE APPLICATION FORM THE DECLARATION NEEDS TO BE SIGNED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN. SHE IS ALREADY IN UK SO CAN SHE FILL THE FORM/SIGN AND COURIER IT TO HER FAMILY SO THAT HER CHILD CAN APPLY. IS THERE ANY LEGAL PROBLEM THAT SHE NEEDS TO BE THERE IN INDIA WHILE SIGNING THAT APPLICATION.

3.ANY FAMILY RELATIVE CAN SIGN AS GUARDIAN IN THE FORM. IF WE DO SO THEN DO WE NEED TO SUBMIT ANY MORE DOCUMENTS TO SUPPORT IT.

FYI-CHILD FATHER IS ALSO IN UK AS 1ST DEPENDANT

THANKS

Please don't shout.

1. One can apply again anytime.
2. Parents can sign the form where required and post / courier the form to home country.
3. No, only parents or legal guardians (as the case may be).
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
