Quick Guide

Post by rakeysh.patel » Tue Apr 12, 2011 4:56 pm

All,

I might be asleep all this while, but I have recently moved into a good job and have relocated. Henceforth, have lost touch with Immigration rules. Not until, our HR Business Partner came to me earlier today and discussed few things regarding my Tier 1 General Visa (which runs out towards end of this year/early next year)

So - Has there been any major developments for TIER 1 General Extensions? I switched to TIER 1 in March 2009 and had 3 yrs validity. I had applied in Feb 2008 under HSMP, got that approved in November 2008 and switched to TIER 1 General in March 2009.

"PLEASE" Spare me from bombarding about doing a research, I am posting this from WAP and have no access to internet as of now :(

Many thanks,
Rakesh

The new changes wont affect existing tier1 holders extension. However, you need to score the same points while you apply for ILR

Thanks for your response Bijuk, however, can you back your findings with any statement issued by UKBA on their website? I still can't find anything which suggests you're findings to be true.
