Applying for citizenship with work visa for another country

Post by jager » Thu Apr 14, 2011 3:31 pm

I'm eligible to apply for ILR in September. As I will soon exceed the qualifying age, I would like to apply for a German working holiday visa after that.

Thinking ahead to citizenship, will the presence of a still valid German visa count against me in terms of intention to live in the UK? Is it merely enough to say I intend to live in the UK and satisfy the residency requirement of less than 90 days away? If there is any caseworker guidance on this on the UKBA website could some one link it? Thanks.
