Tier 1 general extension - minimum period of stay

Hi ,
I have aTier 1 general visa which expires in February 2012.
I travelled to UK in the 3rd year of my VISA.I will be applying for an extensin in January2012. By that time i will be staying in UK only for a period of 10 months since i reached in UK only in March 2011.
Is there a minimum period of stay required for an extension?
Can some one help me on this?

No, there is no minimum stay requirement when you extend your visa
