Stoped by police and vehicle registered can effect ILR

Post by topqualitysurvey » Sat Apr 30, 2011 3:50 pm

Hi,

Actually 6-8 months ago while I was driving back to home from my shop and on the way home one lady waved her hand and I assumed she wanted lift.I stopped and asked if she needed lift but then she said if I was interested in business.I straight away say no and sped off but after 5 mins I saw police flash lights on my back which clearly means to stop.I stop immediately and Police asked me that I wanted to pick up a girl from the road and that was illegal but I denied and explain what happened actually but they registered my vehicle and I don't if registered my name or driver number.Police said they are letting me go as friendly warning and didn't say anything about reporting to Police station or anything.
Do you thing it can be problem in ILR application as i am due to apply soon.

Thats would not be a problem in ILR.

As everyone said, that shouldn't be a problem but on a side note, I'd have ripped into that Police officer for giving me 'friendly warning' for not doing anything wrong.
Goodluck.
