Student Visa Extension

Hi Folks

This query is for my friend. I will talk as 1st person.
I need some information. I would appreciate your reply. I am a postgraduate student. My visa is going to expire soon in JUly. I still need to give two exams in august and wait for degree. I have already paid my full fee to university. There are few question i need to clearify.

1. Can I take urgent/by hand appointment for visa extension with home office if yes then how, if not then how much time before i would need to apply for extension by post.

2. How much money do i need to show in my account and for how long.

3. At the moment I am out of UK, can i come back 10 days before my visa expire.

4. How much is the fee Urgent and Normal

Do i still need to give English test ( i dont know what it is). I have already taken my IELTS before i came to UK. Moreover, I am applying for extension to complete my exisiting degree (2 exams). I am not continuing with new degree. Can anyone explain

If it is listed in your CAS, then you'll have to provided the original document with your application for extension.
