PLEASE HELP ....... URGENTLY ADVISE !!!

Post by titas » Wed May 10, 2006 8:13 pm

If someone came in this country under working holidaymaker and after one and half year decides to switch his status to HSMP can he claim the point for his past earning with the earning documents from his country? which is indeed one and half year old.

Please advise.

not sure on this one :?

i think the guidance note says that your 'past eranings' should be in the 'country of permanent residence' which means you may not be able to claim money earned in a UK as a holiday maker (which is temp residence).

You can only claim earnings from the 12 months prior to the application (unless you have been studying in that time). These earnings can be from anywhere in the world, you can include earnings during time on a working holiday visa.

They will not accept your earnings from 30 to 18 months ago.
