ILR: bank statements

Post by seagullb » Fri Jul 01, 2011 5:17 pm

I'm to apply for the ILR via the workpermit and have a question about the bank statemens:

In the past 5 years, I've not been collecting my bank statements. So, I'm wondering if you could help me here and advise if:
- it would be sufficient to ask the cashier at the bank to print out my statements and have them authorized
- or I should place an order and ask the bank to print out the original statements.

Many thanks for your help!

I suggest you order for the statements. It must be originals not copy.

From the SET(O) form, it just stated 3 months bank statement showing the salary has been paid into your account.

On safe side, if you have 12-15 months of bank statement should be ok as even for Tier 1, they just require the bank statement for 12 out of 15 months.

Please correct me, if I interpre the form worngly.
