Applied for naturalisation but now unemployed?

Post by Gm09 » Sun Aug 21, 2011 6:35 pm

Hi
Just wondering if anyone can help?! I applied for my naturalisation on the 19 may and I was employed but on the 10 august I become unemployed and haven't found another job yet?! Should I let UKBA that I'm unemployed now and can this affect my approval?
Any help on this would be great
Thanks

Employment isn't a condition for BC.

You don't have to be employed for bc application.
However you may wish to contatct ukba to update them but again not a necessity.

Good luck

No, don´t bother making contact. It´s irrelevant to the application and you would be wasting the cost of a postage stamp.

You have to take into account staff shortages during the holiday months.
