I understand the rule that I would need to go back to Moscow : as I have a gap over 30 days: to make an application; but after living in the UK for 7 years the idea of applying from there makes me feel horrified (maybe I should not really)
I try my very best to convience university under exceptional circumstance accept me earlier - my visa expires on 23rd Nov and I asked to started before 20th dec- they refused! Although I did my Msc there and received merit. I did write to dean as well to ask for a huge favor, PhD students in theory can start any date of a year....
Questions:
- Is there any danger of applying from overseas after living here for so long
- Can I live my furniture, my dog and until I come back? It is a difficult situation. I also have a mortgage already in London! What if they reject? how I will be able to come back and sort things out?
- The average time for visa in moscow is 6 weeks, I will be late for course - since my fixed work contract now is untl 21st Nov, so I can fly to moscow just before visa expires to keep the continous period for 10 years.
Any ideas, opinions, help will be highly appreaciated.
