Hi there,
My wife's visa is rejected in Pakistan due to divorce decree. I was married in Pakistan few years back with some one and then she divorced me in 2008 and married another person.
I am a pakistani national on Tier 1 general visa and my fiancee was in Pakistan. We got married in Aug 2011 and she applied for a spouse visa but now we got rejection due to divorce decree which i was not aware of.
My 1st marriage was done in Pakistan and the divorce was also filed in pakistan. The court order for the divorce in Pakistan was also attached with the application when she applied her visa.
in the period of 4 years between my previous marriage and divorce - my ex-visited UK twice.
My new wife has been granted 28 days to apply for appeal from which 10 days has passed. Now if i am applying for a divorce decree it would take 4 months plus.
my question is - do we as pakistan nationals need this divorce decree when we are marrying outside uk where the the previous marriage was also dissolved outside UK?
